SPINDLES TAPES - BELTS

Spindle tapes manufactered from the highest grade of NYLON and NYLON-COTTON for driving spindles and also for dofferent textile applications suitable to withstand high speed. Antistatic tratment, high coefficent of adhesion, heat resistence, no elongation, flexible without frayng of the edges.
OMATEX tapes can be supplied: in rolls of approx mt.100; ready cuts with ends perpared for instant welding; with closed loops. Transmission and conveyors belts are avaible in any desired width and thickness, in accordance with type and application of the machine where they will be fitted.

SPINDLE TAPES PREPARATION AND WELDING ISTRUCTION

CUTTING
Determinate net lenght of spindle tapes and add 30 mm. to give correct cutting size. Cut at right angles.
CHAMFERING
Chumfer the white side to a lenght of 15 mm. and the other one on (the coloured) and to a lenght of 15 mm.
GLUING
Lightly and unformly coat the chamfered ends of the tape. Care should be taken to avoid excessive application of glue as this will resultin a weak joint.
WELDING
Assemble the chamfered joint in correct alignment. Besure the press has reached the correct temperature of 120. Put the joint on the center of the plates and close the press firmly, for a time of 1' 30".
To join the spindle tapes alresdy prepared for, simply take off the vinyl and the tape from both ends (of the same). Put the glued ends on the heated plate of the press, so that the glue will be soften, then proceed as above described.
